It's a compatibility warning of Cadence with the OS Kernel. I don't know why but Cadence likeS your OS, albeit it has a warning sign, it works.Which warning do you have?
Do you use ttymidi-rpi?
If you use another ttymidi daemon, make sure to shut down ttymidi-rpi, because only one process should access the serial port.
With my version of bookworm, with your ttymidi installed, there is a NO WAY sign, not just a warning. Jack service start anyway but then I can't make any sequencer work with the Midi ports via Cadence. Cadence and Catia are the only way I could make a Midi connection work with the Alsa Midi seq or raw bridge... tnx for your suggestion, I have slowed down a bit this last week and haven't done a lot.
