Thank you for the response. I dislike this kind of warning inside the kernel, but it' s just my point of view, no worry.
For the embedded data, something is wrong. I know that imx477 and imx708 use the embedded device, and I use it on the Raspberry Pi4. But not the imx296.
I tested it anyway. With imx296 rpicam-hello doesn't link the pads of the medium, and doesn't open video1 device. If I link the pads and open the video1 device I continues to have the problem.
Or I didn't understood, and you speak about metadata from video4 ?
