dear diary,
i woke in fear thinking the cv2 layer maybe wouldn't work with the LCD! the laptop cooling breadboard doesn't allow the female entry of the screen. so i went soldering pins wondering what if it fails. i don't want to re-design the project to fit that 4 inch hdmi LCD.

all components were wired, working and Saturday barely started (00:26) tomorrow i hope i can finish all the controls but the camera already boots on the last mode, with the preview "disabled" or not etc.! disabled in quotes because if i stop the preview, i can't get the metadata or set controls... so i'm just drawing a black box. thought about placing the preview into 1 FPS but then values are sync slow. hope the still 15 FPS doesn't burn battery too much
i thought in something cool for the video-mode: a "stereo recording", which after we record the video (with or without audio), we are then requested to capture the LEFT audio, a confirm screen or re-take the record, then RIGHT and we merge with ffmpeg at the end! probably that's trivial to-do but at the worst case i implement that without joining the stuff but at least matching nomenclature for some esoteric video- record.
i also want a number of shots and seconds recorded since your first boot. i don't want to implement some interface for previewing photos. lets intend we are in 1950 shooting film. maybe we run a function from time to time to .tomb the files so we can invade military facilities and collect data and at the worst case we "don't know the encryption key to unlock the card" /j

here's the wiring diagram of the camera! and someone by any chance knows how can i quit Emacs? i have been trying :q but the only way i can actually exit it is when my laptop shutdown due to low battery
