Yes, a jumper wire simulating the AM312 works fine for me on the Pi Pico 2 W. However, using the AM312 on the Pi Pico 2 W shows weird antenna effects on the jumper wire to the GPIO pin that do not happen on the Pi Pico W. However, many of the devices I've tried on the Pi Pico 2 W work just fine.
