Raspberry Pi OS • Re: Disable Screen Lock in Final Bullseye release

Thanks for the tips. I tried running raspi-config from a terminal window on the desktop to make sure labwc was running then turned screen blanking on and then turned it off (to make sure there really was a state change). When I exited raspi-config it offered to reboot which I accepted. The reboot happened and a couple of minutes later, the screensaver came on. I typed in the password and the desktop reappeared but not the browser window; which then started again from scratch. Most strange. The browser then ran happily from then on without the screen lock reappearing.

Regarding the autostart file, it's really rather simple (with no swayidle in it) viz

Code:

/home/pi/tvstuff/manage.sh /usr/bin/lwrespawn /home/pi/Downloads/flow/flow --kiosk file:///home/pi/tvstuff/index.html 2>&1 > /tmp/log.txt&
My apologies for the misleading title, it should of course read "Final Bookworm Release"
