Troubleshooting • cannot print, “/dev/usblp0 removed” [solved]

I already solved the problem, I post this for it might be useful to other people, and the problem is/was that I had problems with my printers, none of them would do anything except sometimes print the initial test page, and dmesg gave me “usblp0: removed”.

This problem was quite substantial, because I use a Raspberry Pi 5 as my main system at home, scanning, storage devices,… worked, but I need my printers – plural, I have two, a receipt printer, and a laser printer. I will spare you the details, what worked was:

I changed the power supply from Raspberry's official plug (5.2 volts) to one that supplies 5.0 volts.

And there, just like that, the printers worked.

I have read that people could also solve the issue by connecting the printers to a USB-hub/not directly to the Pi, but this is kinda stupid, because one can absolutely expect USB-devices to, you know, work when connected to USB. I had problems with power supply in the past, I take it the Raspberry Pi Foundation needs to work on this. Greetings from Vienna!
