1) did you update the bootloader?
2) i assume you are using RPI-Imager to create the card. (and filled out the user, password, ets "edit settings")
3) i also assume your card(s) are 32G at least.
4)i'd try creating a card with latest RPI-OS, 64bit, with desktop.
5) it could just be a monitor problem. (or your HDMI cabling) - do you have a proper cable? (no adapters).
you can set the video output manually :
in /boot/cmdline.txt (add to the front/end of the line, NOT a new line)
-- IMPORTANT NOTE: for Bookworm, the file is at /boot/firmware/cmdline.txt !!
video=HDMI-A-1:1024x768@60D
(or whatever resolution you want)
Note that video settings in config.txt are no longer supported.
