I'm close reading https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... config-txt

but what is confusing me and not well explained is the difference between for instance

dtparam=audio=on
dtparam=audio=off
#dtparam=audio=on

I understand the # is comment and on or off is quite clear. But that still does not make the last case clear.
But with camera_auto_detect it is

camera_auto_detect=0
camera_auto_detect=1

is 1/on 0/off the same? what about

#camera_auto_detect=pi

A bit of clarity is what I expect here.

(BTW I'm a computer scientist since about the 1980.)
