I am not the OP but l modified my pi5 to start the fan at 60degC. It runs a fairly heavy cpu load, has hats fitted, hence reduced air flow, and runs just below 60degC without the fan running, and l wanted to reduce the noise.Out of interest why do you want to change the default settings?
