Then it is really hard to know how to help you. The vendors that are supplying these displays are not supporting them very well. There have been changes to the Raspberry Pi OS that mean these scripts don't work very well or at all.
I suspect that you are going to need to reinstall the OS again.
You can try to edit config.txt and "comment out" things at the end that have been added by the script. This is done by adding a hash/pound (#) character to the start of the lines you want to disable.
