Oops, but thanks for explaining it. That likely would put most components into meltdown. The Flash chip on a Pico W appears to have an absolute maximum 4V rating so that's probably a goner too, taking all your files with it.

I'd snap the board so no one finding it tries to use it and bin it. set it aside for electrical waste collection.
