You need an OBEX push server like obexpushd running on the Pi.

So, that wouldn't come with the desktop?
It has Bluetooth. So it has BT, but without this?

Right, installed the OBEX package that was available.
I see that it is for transfering files, thanks. II assume it allows transfers both ways.

So, When I make both Pi and phone visible, both are visible to each other.
I try and pair from Phone and it says Pairing rejected by Pi.

I try and connect from the Pi and it states 'Connection to the device failed'.

I try to send a pic from phone gallery and pi doesn't show up as a place I am ablee to send it to via BT.
When I go to docs and try and share a file, it gives Connection refused (111)

It doesn't seem like they are connected.
Even though, when i click on the pi BT icon and the phone shows (it still shows the 'connect ' button)
But it states that it is paired and trusted.

Edit: Ignore the Obex i installed. It was wrong. I need to look into what I need to actually install.
