How do you connect anything to that fan? There is no fan connector (neither 3 not 4 pin) where one can connect such a PC fan. Hence you will either have to make a custom cable or use some jumper wires i.e.
Even detaching the cable from the connector is possible but sounds like you don't know how to do that.
So good luck with your fan.
P.S. Don't forget to connect GND from your 12V supply to the Pi's GND.
