Short answer is Yes ......Now that I think about it, can the ADS1115s also read negative voltages? In fact, the current on the shunts will flow in one direction during discharge and in the opposite direction during charging. I hope so, otherwise it would be a problem...
ADS1115 can read negative voltages on a differential input ... so it will correctly measure current flowing in either direction
Just make sure the shunt voltage stays within the PGA range of your ADC.
