Definitely the case. In an industrial control unit costing thousands the difference can be absorbed or won't be noticed, whereas if it's a $350 consumer product the price will need to rise which could put some end-purchasers off. How many remains to be seen.Most Pi go to industrial customers. They'll almost certainly have to soak up or pass on the price increases.
