start usbboot
hold down power button on the CM nano (or your Pi5)
Connect USB-C cable and instantly release the button
May require you to practice a few times to get the right Timing (connecting cable and relasing button).
No luck so far. Introduced another baseboard which has a boot jumper to try that as well with no success.
