?? Sorry, but can't follow you according to https://mediamtx.org/docs/usage/publish its at least RPIcams and Webcams

Code:

We provide instructions for publishing with the following devices:Raspberry Pi CamerasGeneric webcams
as it interfaces to libcamera OP's IMX335 https://www.arducam.com/imx335-camera-m ... amera.html should work as well when started via https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/bl ... verlay.dts with 2-lane CSI (as OP uses Pi Zero 2W).
The Generic webcams use ffmpeg as helper and just V4L2
The special Raspberry is explicitly source: rpiCamera
That is not source: libcamera or so, would also mean straight from https://libcamera.org/faq.html or as vanilla Debian package. Also in the versions you see:
libcamera v0.6.0+rpt20251202

So again the same as usual for RPL, standard generic libcamera but then special RPL version. You can expect that the changes are not done because some random Sony sensor then work with NXP iMX8 or some Intel SoC. Or an Arducam module.

Also look at this what is standard Debian Trixie:

Code:

~# apt list libcamera*libcamera-calibration-parsers-dev/stable 1.12.0-14+b5 arm64libcamera-calibration-parsers0t64/stable 1.12.0-14+b5 arm64libcamera-dev/stable 0.4.0-7 arm64libcamera-doc/stable 0.4.0-7 alllibcamera-info-manager-dev/stable 1.12.0-14+b5 arm64libcamera-info-manager0t64/stable 1.12.0-14+b5 arm64libcamera-ipa/stable 0.4.0-7 arm64libcamera-tools/stable 0.4.0-7 arm64libcamera-v4l2/stable 0.4.0-7 arm64libcamera0.4/stable 0.4.0-7 arm64
or Opensuse Tumbleweed

Code:

~# zypper se libcamera*Loading repository data...Reading installed packages...S  | Name                    | Summary                                               | Type---+-------------------------+-------------------------------------------------------+--------i  | libcamera-base0_6       | A complex camera support library in C++               | package   | libcamera-base0_6-32bit | A complex camera support library in C++               | packagei+ | libcamera-cam           | Command-line interfaces for libcamera                 | package   | libcamera-devel         | Development for libcamera, a camera support library   | package   | libcamera-ipa           | Plugins for hardware specific image processing blocks | package   | libcamera-qcam          | Qt interfaces for libcamera                           | packagei+ | libcamera-tools         | Command-line utilities from libcamera                 | packagei  | libcamera0_6            | A complex camera support library in C++               | package   | libcamera0_6-32bit      | A complex camera support library in C++               | package
Just curious I used it in the last OS (on x86-64) with an old Logitech C310 USB webcam.
