Hello,
I wish to integrate the Waveshare 13.3" DSI Display with CM5 on the CM5 IO Board.

https://www.waveshare.com/13.3inch-dsi-lcd.htm

I am completely new to this. Please guide me on the step wise procedure to do so.
I am using the CM5 with eMMC. I have flashed the default latest version Debian Trixie OS.

I connected the Waveshare 13.3 DSI display to DSI1 port ( J16 ) and shorted the pins on J6 of the CM5 IO board. I also connected the 5V power to the display from the CM5 IO Board as explained on Waveshare website.

I opened up the config.txt file & added the below line at the end of the config.txt file, saved it and ejected the drive so as load the OS.

Code:

#DSI1 Usedtoverlay=vc4-kms-dsi-waveshare-panel,13_3_inch_2lane
.
I powered on the CM5 IO board. But the display doesn't show anything. It continues to remain black.
What next do I next or where must I have gone wrong.
I have checked that the display works, since prior to it, I tried making it run on the RPi 4 & RPi 5 using the pre-installed images as provided by Waveshare. However, with the above mentioned procedure on the CM5 IO board, the display simply refused to work.

Please help me troubleshoot.
(By any chance do I need to use dtoverlay=vc4-kms-dsi-waveshare-panel,13_3_inch_4lane in the config file ?)
