I'll try that log level out, to give context to that HDD, basically non tech savvy rich kid bought batch of coolest sounding HDDs, reads in the internet its not best for NAS, buys another batch of cool sounding HDD and sells the Skyhawks for $200 each, validated with smartctl and Seagate Warranty Coverage Checker, legit as far as i can see.you need kernel logs, and detailed, so force loglevel=7
point 4 reminds me of SMR, crashing firmware inside HDD, so it also tears down whole USB chain maybe. And: 'SkyHawk AI' '16 tiny bits' 'cheap'
you likely will see more if you connect that seagate to a native SATA port, just an old x86 computer with Linux on it.
