Pi 5 with PCIe adaptor using a flat cable and power from GPIO pins. The setup is used for experiments so is on base with breadboard but not enclosed. over maybe 20 ~ 30 tests, I have twice had to reseat flat PCIe cable in Pi 5 to make boot work. The GPIO connections also seem a bit easy to move.
The flat cable is seated full depth. The lock bit is pushed down. Are the connectors sensitive to bumps?
Are the different jumper lead type connectors variable in the way they lock on? The power cable was pushed on/off/on to the GPIO pins perhaps five times when moving it to different bases.
