Basically, when I connect any USB stick or external hard drive, such as a 500 GB 2.5" mechanical drive, to the Raspberry Pi 5, the mouse and keyboard freeze, and I can't interact with the system. I have to manually unplug the peripheral to get the system back up and running.
Is there a terminal command to restore/fix the system? I had to reset the power button twice.
