That's interesting. And when you want to connect from far away, do you see the AP name and can initiate the connection and it fails or you even don't see it?If I am not connected to it, I cannot connect to it unless I am fairly close by.
It can be some advanced feature of the AP like beamforming, if AP knows where the client is and how weak the signal is, it can do some additional magic to improve the quality.
