From what I read, the GPIO is provided by a USB adaptor. If you want notebook + GPIO, can you use the Argon GPIO USB adaptor with other computers? If so, I would buy the adaptor for use with my current computer in situations where the breadboard has to be some distance from the processor.
For a notebook, plugging in USB would be easier than replugging 25 GPIO jumper leads. I could also use any notebook. My previous notebook was 14", the same as the Argon One Up but I upgraded to 15.6" when the old notebook failed. I would not go back to 14".
