OK, I tested this by enabling FreeRTOS SMP, and having a task on each core that prints (I only have two tasks)
printf("Loop! %d\n", get_core_num());
amongst the other things and I see that both cores are running tasks. System is extremely sluggish until a hard reset, and then it is back to being fast.
I have also disabled LVGL support for FreeRTOS - no change in behaviour.
