Does anyone have any issues with the performance of VS Code when the pico extension is enabled?
I use the VIM extension for vim bindings, but when the pico extension is enabled, there is a 2 second input delay on every key press making it unusable. I ran the extension host profiler, and it the serial monitor extension that the pico sdk extension installs has 12 seconds of up time compared to the 50ms of everything else.
Any ideas?
I'm so used to vim bindings that it is excruciating to code without them. lol
I can't answer your question, but I wonder whether the hardware/OS platform you are using as a workstation to run the VS Code IDE might have any relevance?
(There might be clues in what you have written that I haven't understood.)
