SDK • Re: Setting up Pico development on Eclipse

Even STMicroelectronics, possibly strongest supporter of Eclipse, have just started moving from Eclipse to VSCode.
Right now the two development environments I regularly use are both on Eclipse, so there's a reasonable case for sticking with Eclipse for a third (which has the potential to be merged with one of the existing environments, dependent on which RTOS I finally choose). Should minimise confusion! And I find Eclipse adequate for my needs (not that I really know what I might be missing). Plus I'm always uneasy with modern Microsoft products; I try and avoid anything that has telemetry or similar privacy-busting things embedded. [I don't particularly like environments that assume you're connected to the Internet, either - to me an air gap is the most effective form of security. But that's becoming harder to avoid]. It's a bit of a Hobson's choice; do I spend time getting what I know to work with the Pico, or do I spend time learning a somewhat different development methodology and environment?
