Awful! It's little short of slave labour; IMHO.In theory it's illegal. But I know it still happens in the UK television industry because a neighbour's daughter did it 'as part of her media studies course'. Yeah ... right.There are so many reasons why unpaid interns are a terrible idea.
I don't know how many large UK companies make extensive of them. None that I've ever worked for!
And the guy was a known sex pest. (not on a cooking programme !)
