There is a lot of information in the datasheet about this, for your exact question search on DISABLE_BOOTSEL_USB_PICOBOOT_IFC if you want to disable the PICOBOOT interface altogether, however you can achieve what you want with the less blunt instrument of a partition table (if you want to prevent downloads to certain areas of flash via UF2 or picotool)
Hi,

Regarding this, my objective is to enhance the security of the pico 2w and if I have OTA enabled and working, assuming I always flash applications with OTA capabilities, I don't need debug and USB interfaces anymore right? So it's fine if I disable that ?

My point is, as u say I can protect the firmware defining partition permissions, but with picotool I can also see info from the device, see OTP rows,... right? So disabling that with these flags that you commented would be the best option to enhance maximum security?

Sorry if it feels dumb question, I'm pretty new on pico and picotool .

Thanks
