As long as the USB-C connector is not providing power that should work. Use both 5v pins in the header and two grounds to spread the load around.I'm not OP, but I've been waiting for even a partial schematic covering power and the USB-C connector. Since you're taking questions, is it possible to safely power a pi5 direct to 5v on the 40-pin header while using the USB-C as a device? (without potentially backpowering the connected USB host)
