My RealVNC Viewer was older, so I updated to "7.13.1 (r57) x64 (Dec 6 2024 18:17:18". Didn't make a difference - cursor was still missing.
I was able to restore the cursor by setting the Expert option "UseLocalCursor" to True, but that wasn't required before my wayvnc update. Also, I noticed that I had also updated "libneatvnc0" to 0.9.1+dfsg-1~bpo12+rpt1 at the same time that I updated wayvnc. (I hadn't noticed the "vnc0" on the end of that...) Anyway, maybe it's that update rather than the wayvnc update itself. Or maybe it's something else entirely.
