I may be a beginner with the Pi cm5 but i already purchased them and would like at least get the OS running. I am now able to run the installer but it hangs with the following message, We're Sorry: the installer crashed. After you close this window, we'll allow you to file a bug report using the integrated bug reporting tool... This is at the configuring keyboard screen. The keyboard is a Logitech wireless.
I let it run the tool and it is slow, and then it sent the report to the bug tracking system, the the next screen said "Manage passwords". Clicked on that and have a blank screen with a rotating cursor.
This is the second time I am installing as the first time it seems to have worked but it would not take the password I chose during the install and I was stuck. I use a really simple one it was user name user1 with the password being 00000000.
Any ideas how to get by this error? Beginner or not I think should be able to at least get the os installed, after all it is just a linux computer.
