Before I suggested it I googled to see if it was possible. I haven't done it on a Pico myself, but I have on other micros.
There are often several techniques for any particular micro. Pick one that works for you.
Most of the embedded stuff around my house gets installed and left alone. OTA updates sound exciting, but on the rare occasion I need to update I can either pull the micro and update it on the bench, or replace it with a newly-programmed one.
Having said that, my lightbulbs from IKEA get OTA updates from Sweden (or somewhere) whilst in situ in the ceiling without me having to do anything.
