Hi Konsta,

thanks a lot for your nice work. I was wondering if there is some way to utilize PCIe wifi cards, such as AX210? I've flashed the latest image on CM5, but looks like the wifi is not available during the initial setup. Would it need the kernel compiled with something additional enabled?
Built in wifi/bt should work on CM5 given you have a module that has wireless in the first place.

There's no support for external wifi/bluetooth hardware in my builds. You can consider Android as an OS for embedded devices so it's designed to support only one specific wifi/bluetooth hardware at a time.

You would need to compile the kernel with the drivers for the specific hardware. You would also need to add the wifi firmware files for the hardware. Android also has hardware specific command libraries and it's currently configured to use Broadcom wifi (https://github.com/raspberry-vanilla/an ... mk#L76-L83). So yes, you would need to compile quite a bit of things to support different wifi hardware.
