I found a python script witch can generate a PM5544 Philips test pattern, i want to adapt it for other formats

Don't know what your question is. It's a standard Python script. You will need to know Python, Numpy and PIL.

If you are talking about just the output format you will have to check PIL to see what the parameters are for SAVE (line 207).
