Hi,
I have a raspberry PI 4 with Openmedia vault installed. I do'nt use an SD-card but an SSD-card. That works fine.
Until i connect a second USB SSD drive. The drive has no bootloader or partitions, but still the raspbery is trying to boot from this USB-SSD Dive.
How to resolve this? Is there a way to configure the boot order of multiple USB drives?
No. The 4B tries each USB drive in turn and boots fro the first one with a FAT partition containing the required files.
You're trying to run two USB SSDs from a single 4B? Is either of them connected via a self powered USB hub or are both connected directly to the Pi?
If both are connected directly to the Pi (or through a bus powered hub) it's likely a power issue. The 4B can supply a maximum of 1.2A to bus powered USB devices and that is shared between all of them and assumes the official supply (or one with an equivalent rating).
1.2A is usually enough to run one SSD or HDD but not two.
Using a more capable PSU (one with a higher current output) won't help as the PI itself enforces the restriction.
