As I'm employed by Raspberry Pi, I only work with stuff that is in the Raspberry Pi kernel tree. I may look at the random stuff on vendor's sites, but generally won't use it, and definitely won't support it.
I did have an Arducam IMX477 with controllable lens, but it failed and I haven't bothered to replace it.
Please note that the V3 camera generates PDAF data, so can focus far faster than any sensor that doesn't where it then has to do a focus sweep to find the best focus position.
One of my motorised lens assemblies is likely to go on one of the Arducam M12 IMX708 modules as you can remove the lens holder to fit your own lens. As the other is a C-mount CCTV lens, that will have to go on an IMX477.
