compute modules have TWO camera connectors, and also have software support for them such as split screen display of the two camera's, and support for depth (stereo) vision.
the latest pi the PI5 also has two camera's.
USB camera's have unpredictable (and long) latency, so they are less suitable for stereo vision support.
