Please email sales@raspberypi.com for any further enquiries, as you say, the forums are not the best place to discuss this.Thank you very much for the feedback. It is much appreciated. However , in the announcement of the Pico 2 boards it was stated that the RP2350 chips will be available "before the end of 2024" and October appeared to be the target. Hence ,many of us clients have been eagerly awaiting for their release.I think we expect the device to go on full sale Q1/2 next year. In the mean time, we are very limited in samples as all production is going on to Pico2. So the best bet is to use Pico2 for development until the devices become available. I'm sorry about the delay, there are always reasons for these things, sadly I cannot go into them. I do know the Pi elves working hard to sort it out.
Many users (including myself via sales and forum posts) have been enquiring about the chips' release ; but there has been no response whatsoever from the team. In addition, I (and I'm sure many others) have come up with designs using the RP2350 chips and are ready to commence production. So it is very disappointing and disheartening to be left in the dark for such a long time -only to have a such a development to be shared via a forum reply mid December!! I strongly suggest that a general announcement is made about this development ,so that everyone can be informed about it and appropriate adjustments can be made. I think that is the least the team can do.
Kind regards
