First of all you should be clear about what voltage your winch requires! In the header you speak of 120VAC, in the text it becomes 240VAC all off a sudden.
First question would be: where to get 240VAC from when you only have 120VAC?
You have the remote controller. Does that operate at 240VAC?and we found the wires controlling each function by taking apart the remote.
Think about using solid state relais instead of 'normal' relais, but first of all you should be clear in what you want to do.
