I was developing code on the 64 bit pi 4 platform to simultaneously capture images and video. It would do motion detection on the images and decide whether or not to output a block of MP4 Video. I think this mechanism takes a lot of RAM up and that's one thing that that RPI Zero 2 does not have a lot of.
The Pi4 code didn't work the same way for the RPI Zero 2 as I hoped it would so I could save some money on some field cameras. I've got a RPI 5, which can support two cameras, so I just might run 2 different instances of the code for each camera. This might bring the cost down and still get better performance, especially with motion detection so as to throw away stuff that doesn't matter.
