Gotcha, thank you for the heads up and appreciate the help!The UPS you linked to does not have any kind of interface connection for any kind of monitoring (I just read the fine manual). Also, only the three sockets on one side are battery-backed. The other three are surge protected, but not battery-backed.
If you expect power outages and you're going to be present when they happen (so you can shut things down) then it will be fine. Otherwise choose another model.
