Interfacing (DSI, CSI, I2C, etc.) • Re: Interfacing a 8-bit Serial RGB Display

I understand, but I am wondering if there is any way to make it work...
Not without external circuitry.

The simplest interface based on a quick read of the datasheet would be to feed the Red, Green, and Blue outputs of the Pi's DPI interface into 3 octal buffers (eg SN74LVT244B) with the outputs of each bit position commoned. Configure a display that is 3 times the width and clock frequency, and enable the outputs of red, green, and blue in turn (resetting on the HSYNC edge).
