Sorry, which Linux is that?

Firmware knows nothing about a DSI connected display --> which logo do you speak of?

Kernel command line is where to place a rotate instruction for console.

Is that a commercial development?
Yocto based Linux distro on custom HW - open-source distro. Buildin linux kernel logo.

Code:

[ 0.000000] Kernel command line: coherent_pool=1M 8250.nr_uarts=1 snd_bcm2835.enable_headphones=0 snd_bcm2835.enable_hdmi=0 smsc95xx.macaddr=D8:3A:DD:C4:BD:2B vc_mem.mem_base=0x3ec00000 vc_mem.mem_size=0x40000000 dwc_otg.lpm_enable=0 console=ttyAMA3,115200 root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rootfstype=ext4 rootwait fbcon=map:10 fbcon=font:VGA8x8 video=LVDS1:1280x800M@60,rotate=180 ubi.mtd=0
Can you confirm that rotaion working on your display?
